How to use

Transcribing in the Studio

Select a video or audio.

Click Generate captions in the inspector.

Keep the default Basic Captions style, or select a caption Element in the Styles tab.

Click Generate captions to transcribe and insert captions using the chosen style.

Style selection is available from v4.0.535. Basic Captions works without loading the Element library.

Install an Element from below.

Select its caption layer in Studio.

In the Captions inspector, click Import and choose a file.

Supported formats:

• Remotion Caption[] JSON
• SRT
• ElevenLabs Speech-to-Text or segmented JSON
• OpenAI Whisper JSON transcript (verbose mode must be on)
